The Film

Brooklyn-based painter and mixed media artist Allison Zuckerman describes her work as a remixing of art history and contemporary culture with an emphasis on female empowerment. Her exhibition “Gone Wild” presented at Kravets Wehby Gallery in Chelsea, New York, features a series of paintings that have been originally created for the January Issue of Vogue Italia. As the director of this film I wanted to visually echo the way Allison reconstructs art history - layering, distorting, and reimagining the familiar into something entirely new. I wanted the film to blend an insight to Allisons creative process behind Gone Wild, while immersing us in her world.
